Did you know many employers will match donations made to non-profit organizations? Employer gift matching programs can contribute up to a 100% match for every charitable contribution you make to our school. Donlon PTA is a bona fide 501(c)(3) organization qualifying for matching company gifts. Several employers have a matching program, including Microsoft, Apple, Google, Cisco, Adobe, 3Com, IBM, SAP, etc.
What are employee matching gift programs?
Matching gift programs are a charitable donation by an employer that matches an employee's donation to an eligible nonprofit organization such as Donlon PT. Donations are most often matched dollar for dollar. For example, a $100 donation made from you to our school is eligible to be matched by your employer, literally doubling the donation for a total of $200. It's an easy way to double your contribution to us!
How do I request a matching gift?
Requesting a matching gift from your employer is a quick process and must be initiated by the donor. Please contact your employer’s Human Resources or benefits department to find out which service your company uses for corporate matching. Requests for matching gifts occasionally can also be submitted via a company’s internal portal. Which donations qualify for corporate matching?
Donations eligible for employer matching gift programs include ALL Donlon donation made through the student registration process via Future Fund (Specialist Fund, Donlon Cub Fund, Sponsor a Donlon Cub Fund) as well as donations made to other PTA fundraisers (i.e. Fun Run).
