Reflections 2016-2017 - What is Your Story?

We are happy to announce that many Donlon students participated in the 2016-2017 Reflections Art Recognition Program, a national arts recognition and achievement program for students, run by the National PTA.  Students submitted new original works of art in six different categories (visual arts, literature, photography, music, film production, dance choreography), inspired by this year's theme, "What is your story?"

Congratulations to the following Donlon students for being selected as the winner for each category:

Zachary Benson (Film)

Timothy Liu (lower grade artwork)

Aditi Balakrishna (upper grade artwork)

Anjali Nair (poetry)

Vibha Rao (story)

Thank you to all of the students who entered the program! Your artwork will be displayed at school and online to share with our Donlon Community!

Winners will move on to the District level competition.  For more general information on the program, visit

Many thanks to Donlon parent Allison Ferro

for chairing this important program!

Pleasanton has Measure I1 on the ballot.

The Pleasanton Unified School District Board of Trustees voted unanimously during a special meeting on July 30 to place a $270 million general obligation bond measure on the ballot for the November 8, 2016, primary election.

Please visit the

PUSD Measure I1 Information Page

Donlon Procedures and Videos

Please take a moment to familiarize yourself with the

updated drop off and pick up procedures for in and around school.

These have been developed

in conjunction with the city of Pleasanton.

In addition, new road crossing signs are being installed at

all of the crosswalks around Donlon.

On the Donlon Website, a series of videos are now uploaded that have been created to establish consistency with the students and expected behaviors.  This is part of our multi-year process of transforming to a more positive environment.  The most essential video for parents to watch is the "Front of School" video, which will help with expectations for

pick up and drop off procedures.
